Full registration
includes access to all official conference activities: keynote speakers, parallel scientific sessions, exhibit hall, conference catering and special events (evening receptions).

One-day registration includes access to keynote speakers, parallel scientific sessions, exhibit hall and conference catering. Tickets to social events are available for purchase.

Short Courses are not included in conference registration fees. Tickets must be purchased, and availability is on first-come, first-served basis. Cancellation may occur if minimum quantities are not reached.

Registration fees are in Canadian dollars, and are subject to 5% Goods and Services Tax (GST). For your convenience, we have included a currency converter link .

 

Registration Terms, Procedures and Contact Information

1. Online Payment of Fees - Online payment can be made via the secure registration form with Visa, MasterCard or American Express.

2. Payment by Cheque - Please complete the online registration form and select the 'Pay Later' option on the payment page. All cheques must be made out to "Mine Water Solutions 2018" and MUST be in Canadian funds, drawn from a Canadian bank. Please ensure the registrant's name is marked clearly on the cheque. Send the cheque to: Mine Water Solutions 2018 Registration Secretariat, c/o UBC Conferences & Accommodation, 5961 Student Union Boulevard, Vancouver, BC Canada V6T 2C9. Payment by cheques will not be accepted after May 1, 2018.

3. Payment by Wire Transfer - Please complete the online registration form and select the 'Pay Later' option on the payment page. Contact the Mine Water Solutions 2018 Registration Secretariat at registration@housing.ubc.ca or at 1-604-822-1050. The Secretariat will issue you the wire transfer banking information. Please note that a processing fee of CAD $8.50 applies for all wire transfer payments. Wire transfer payments can only be accepted on first time payments. All other payments must be made by credit card. Payment by Wire Transfer will not be accepted after May 1, 2018.

4. Confirmation - Your registration and payment will be confirmed by an automatic email. Please use this confirmation as your registration receipt.

5. Cancellation Policy - Registration cancellations or revisions must be submitted in writing by email to registration@housing.ubc.ca. Refunds will be allowed, based on date of cancellation:
- cancellation requests by April 11, 2018 – full refund, less $50 administrative fee
- cancellation requests by May 11, 2018 – refund 50% of registration fees
- cancellations requested after May 11, 2018 – no refund allowed

6. Letter of Invitation - A Letter of Invitation is issued solely for the purpose of assisting participants with visa applications and/or to obtain funding for their attendance at the conference. Such a letter does not imply any financial obligation on the part of the conference organizers. If you require a Letter of Invitation, please contact the Registration Secretariat at registration@housing.ubc.ca or at 1-604-822-1050 as soon as possible. Please note that your registration must be complete and paid in full before a Letter of Invitation will be issued.
